Yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning “union” and Nidra means “dream”. Therefore in Yoga Nidra, the mind of the individual, the body, and the intellect are in a complete state of relaxation and may even seem to be sleeping, but in reality, their consciousness is active and functioning at a higher level deep. In a person’s yoga dream he is taught how to get out of the waking state, go beyond the dream state and even go into a deep sleep, but nevertheless stay awake.
Dr. Amrit is very attentive and kind. The food is organic and delicious. The classes are warm and wonderful. The atmosphere is lovely. And best of all is the daily treatments like oil massage, steam all were amazing.

It was an awesome experience in the maa Yoga ashram. The ashram is full of positive energy and waves. I stayed there for 1 week. And I am willing to come here again and again. Thanks, Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj for my pleasant stay.
Amazing place and very good environment. I visited so far and a new generation and well-defined yoga style that exist nowhere except here.
Very good place. The homely atmosphere which I really enjoyed when I was there. You must go to the place of seeking life a little away from chaotic cities. A very peaceful experience.
It's an excellent place with great feeling. I went there with my wife. That was a very refreshing location near the Ganga beach and waterfalls in the foothills of the Himalayas. For me, yoga classes and treatments were absolutely relaxing. They offer 100 percent organic food. In the evening, they have live Tabla and sitar performance At dinner time which is very serene. Overall had a great time. Must be recommended.
I stayed there for 2 months, in the first month I did one-month-long yoga teacher training for 200 hours, it was an excellent experience though at that time I was only one student who really enjoyed individualized attention on me. After that I was enticed to attend the Ayurveda practitioner course, for me as a beginner it was a good experience. Also learned to make Ayurveda food, it was fun to be there. I being there in clean air and great food that initates my body to detox, and it happens naturally.
I did an Ayurveda retreat for 3 days and again did choose a yoga retreat at Rishikesh in maa yoga ashram. I had one of the best experiences of my life at maa yoga ashram, learning yoga, getting Ayurveda treatments, and interacting with other inmates. This place was full of positive energy and Dr. Amrit Raj was very helpful in helping us practice yoga at the ashram.
