Maa Yoga Ashram is a yoga teacher training school in Rishikesh, founded in 1914 by the late Dr. Gunwant Rai Agarwal in Muzaffarnagar, U.P, India. Since then, it has been carefully looked after by the 3 generations of the Agarwal family. Dr. Rai’s son, Late V.C. Agarwal, followed by Dr. Rakesh Agarwal and Dr. Neelam Agarwal, in 1982, contributed their vast knowledge and valuable experience to Maa Yoga Ashram.
In 2010, Maa Yoga Ashram set its grounds in the holy city of Rishikesh under the inspiring guidance of Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj, the son of Dr. Rakesh Agarwal. Later, Dr. Arjun Raj, his brother, joined Maa Yoga Ashram in 2011, bringing a wealth of wisdom and expertise to the team.
Together, these dedicated practitioners work tirelessly to provide the highest quality care to their patients. With a rich family lineage of over 100 years and the notable contributions of the team members, Maa Yoga Ashram has grown into a leading authority in Ayurvedic treatments in Rishikesh.
